This database covers impact evaluations conducted in low- and middle- income countries. It summarizes study findings and methodologies for both researchers, and program managers or policy makers, who need evidence on what works, in designing and implementing impact evaluations. The database includes studies that quantify impact using a counterfactual – implicitly or explicitly – with a focus on final welfare outcomes, using qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods. This is a work in progress. The database currently features over 350 records.
