This database covers impact evaluations conducted in low- and middle- income countries. The database includes studies that quantify impact using a counterfactual – implicitly or explicitly – with a focus on final welfare outcomes, using qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods. This is a work in progress. We invite you to complete a feedback survey on the study database, which should not take you more than 2 minutes to complete. We also welcome suggestions for studies to be included, please send them to 3ie(at)3ieimpact.org.

The database summarizes study findings and methodologies for both researchers, and program managers or policy makers, who need evidence on what works, in designing and implementing impact evaluations.
