Impact Evaluation Intern, Washington, DC
3ie seeks an Impact Evaluation Intern who will serve as a research assistant to the Impact Evaluation Services (IES) technical staff in our Washington, DC office. The intern will contribute to a number of IES programmes and activities and will also be responsible for writing summaries of impact evaluation studies for 3ie's online evidence database.
Applicants should be pursuing or should have completed their graduate studies in economics, political science, or any other relevant social science. He/she should have working knowledge of experimental and quasi-experimental methods of rigorous impact evaluations and prior experience in conducting econometric analysis, particularly using STATA statistical software.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
Evaluation Specialist, Humanitarian Assistance, New Delhi
3ie seeks an Evaluation Specialist to serve in its New Delhi office. The Evaluation Specialist will provide high-level technical expertise and management support for studies funded under its Humanitarian Assistance Thematic Window and other 3ie grant programmes, among several other tasks.
Applicants must have a graduate degree (preferably PhD) in economics, public health, agronomy, nutrition, or other relevant fields in international development. They must have prior research experience in experimental and quasi-experimental methods of impact evaluation.
Applications received by 1 August 2014 will be given priority. Applications received after this date will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
