Intern, HIV programme, Washington, DC
3ie seeks an intern to provide research and programme assistance to the HIV team in Washington, DC. He or she will be responsible for conducting background research and literature reviews,writing impact evaluation summaries for the 3ie evidence database and assisting the programme manager, among other tasks.
Applicants must have an undergraduate degree and should be either pursuing or have completed their graduate studies in economics, public health or other relevant fields in social science. They should have experience in conducting biostatistical or econometric analysis, particularly using STATA software and should have some working knowledge of experimental and quasi-experimental methods of rigorous impact evaluation. Evaluation Specialist, Humanitarian Assistance, New Delhi
3ie seeks an Evaluation Specialist to serve in its New Delhi office. The Evaluation Specialist will provide high-level technical expertise and management support for studies funded under its Humanitarian Assistance Thematic Window and other 3ie grant programmes, among several other tasks.
Applicants must have a graduate degree (preferably PhD) in economics, public health, agronomy, nutrition, or other relevant fields in international development. They must have prior research experience in experimental and quasi-experimental methods of impact evaluation.
Applications received by 1 August 2014 will be given priority. Applications received after this date will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
Senior Evaluation Specialist, Washington, DC
3ie seeks a Senior Evaluation Specialist to serve in its Washington, DC office. The Senior Evaluation Specialist will provide technical and management support across 3ie’s impact evaluation services, which includes the 3ie replication programme and professional services programme. The successful candidate will also lead the development of 3ie programmes in peacebuilding, democracy and governance, among other tasks.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree or equivalent competency in political science, economics or other relevant social science fields.
