Intern, New Delhi 

3ie is hiring an intern to serve in its New Delhi Office to provide assistance in research for a desk-based review on community-driven development. The intern will be responsible for undertaking literature review, summarising information from impact evaluations, programme documents and other literature, and analysing data, among other tasks. 

Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in economics, development studies or any other social science. A postgraduate degree in the social sciences or one year of work experience in international development is desirable.

Programme Associate, New Delhi

3ie seeks a Programme Associate for its New Delhi office. The Programme Associate will be responsible for the timely implementation of 3ie's grants and grant windows, coordination with grantees for timely receipt of deliverables and coordination with 3ie's finance office for processing of payments among other tasks.

Applicants must have a graduate degree with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience in the international development sector, including experience in dealing with international agencies.

Research Associate, Executive Director’s office, New Delhi

3ie seeks a Research Associate to work in the Executive Director’s office. This position will be based out of New Delhi and is only open to Indian nationals based in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research for the executive director, liaising with other 3ie offices and assisting in the management of 3ie’s bursary programme, among several other tasks.

Applicants should have a master’s degree in the social sciences, development studies or any other related fields. They should have 2-3 years of experience in the development sector. Applicants should have prior experience in using online academic research databases and with document management.

Systematic Review Specialist (part-time consultant)

3ie seeks a Systematic Review Specialist to work part-time for its Synthesis and Reviews office in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for peer reviewing and critically appraising systematic reviews for 3ie’s online systematic review database. He/she will also be responsible for writing summaries of these critical appraisals, among other tasks.

Applicants should have a master’s degree in economics, public health, or other relevant fields in the social sciences. They should have at least three years of demonstrated experience in conducting systematic reviews. The successful applicant is not required to be based in London.

Editorial Assistant (part-time), London

3ie is seeking a part-time Editorial Assistant for its Synthesis and Reviews Office in London. The Editorial Assistant will be reporting to the Managing Editor of the International Development Coordinating Group (IDCG) of the Campbell Collaboration which is hosted at 3ie’s London office. The Editorial Assistant will be responsible for drafting updates and maintaining the IDCG website and newsletters, assisting in the publication of titles, protocols and reviews, among several other tasks.

Applicants should have an undergraduate degree preferably in a relevant discipline such as international development, social sciences, economics, and politics. He/she should have strong oral and written communication skills with interest or experience in international development.

Evaluation Specialist, Humanitarian Assistance, New Delhi

3ie seeks an Evaluation Specialist to serve in its New Delhi office. The Evaluation Specialist will provide high-level technical expertise and management support for studies funded under its Humanitarian Assistance Thematic Window and other 3ie grant programmes, among several other tasks.

Applicants must have a graduate degree (preferably PhD) in economics, public health, agronomy, nutrition, or other relevant fields in international development. They must have prior research experience in experimental and quasi-experimental methods of impact evaluation.

Applications received by 1 August 2014 will be given priority. Applications received after this date will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
