3ie scoping papers help lay out the landscape of what evidence is known in a particular development sector.
3ie Scoping Papers identify the promising questions for research synthesis and the priority questions for further impact evaluation research. They analyse the existing supply of impact evaluation and systematic review evidence and the demand for such evidence from policymakers and programme managers.
Adolescent sexual and reproductive health: scoping the impact of programming in low- and middle-income countries
3ie Scoping Paper 5, 2016
This scoping paper summarises a range of activities 3ie undertook to assess stakeholder demands and priorities for impact evidence for adolescent sexual and reproductive health (ASRH) interventions in low- and middle-income countries. Our clearest finding is that there are sizeable evidence gaps on mHealth and programmes aimed at changing the norms, attitudes and behaviours of families and communities.
