Umer Gupta

Research Associate

Umer is responsible for developing a comprehensive impact evaluation framework of an early childhood learning and development initiative for India, Senegal and Indonesia. He is also supporting 3ie’s quantitative synthesis work on a project that aims to understand the drivers of vaccine hesitancy for routine child immunization in low- and middle-income countries. Prior to joining as a Research Associate, Umer has worked as a consultant for 3ie’s Synthesis and Reviews Office and the Evaluation Office. Umer holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University. He has also completed a Micromasters Program in Data, Economics and Development Policy curated by MIT.
