Research Assistant

Shwetangi works in the area of research and evaluation. Her research interests lie in the social protection, gender, and health sector. Her tasks include the design of mixed methods impact evaluations, data analysis and management, statistical and econometric analysis, and more.

Prior to joining 3ie, Shwetangi worked as a Research Associate at the Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR). There, she worked on research projects in the domain of labor economics, analyzing the impact of vocational training on the employability and overall livelihood of women. She played an instrumental role in designing the questionnaire, cleaning, and ensuring the quality of data relevant to the project. Additionally, she has six months of experience working with an NGO as a Researcher, where she had the opportunity to engage in qualitative research and gain an understanding of the lives of home-based workers.

Shwetangi holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Delhi and a Master's degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
