Cem Yavuz

Cem supports the production of systematic reviews, evidence gap maps and other synthesis products as part of the Synthesis and Reviews Office. He has managed projects related to food security in humanitarian emergencies and sustainable energy interventions and currently plays a key role in supporting the monthly operations of the Development Evidence Portal (DEP). He has also provided support on projects related to political competition, aquaculture and the SDGs and has delivered products for funders such as USAID and DEval.

Prior to joining 3ie as a staff member, Cem worked as a consultant providing support to various synthesis efforts. He holds an MSc in Security Studies from University College London (UCL) and a BA in Politics from the University of Kent.
