Research Associate

Daniela provides research support to produce systematic reviews, rapid reviews, reviews of reviews, and evidence gap maps on the effectiveness of social and economic interventions in low- and middle-income countries. Her research projects are in the domain of agriculture, education, financial sector and social protection.

Prior to joining 3ie as a consultant, Daniela worked for several organizations in Ecuador, including Fundación CRISFE, Universidad de las Américas, and CORDES. She has experience teaching microeconomics and econometrics at the undergraduate level, conducting social and economic research and impact evaluations, writing articles for a local magazine, and managing knowledge for a non-profit.  

Daniela holds an MSc in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, USA, and an MSc in Impact Evaluation for International Development from the University of East Anglia, UK.
