Divya is a Senior Evaluation Specialist with 3ie's Evaluation Office in Delhi.
She is responsible for providing technical and management leadership across a portfolio of impact evaluations and evidence synthesis programs, with a focus on women’s economic empowerment and digital inclusion. Her work involves supporting rigorous evaluation design, quality assurance, and engagement with implementing partners and policymakers to strengthen the use of evidence in decision-making.
Prior to joining 3ie, Divya was a Research Fellow at the Inclusion Economics India Centre at IFMR, where managed research and policy engagement, including a study on women’s access to bank accounts and employment outcomes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Divya holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Virginia, with research interests in development and applied microeconomics, particularly gender and human capital formation in India.
