Impacts of low-cost interventions to improve latrine use and safe disposal of child faeces in rural Odisha, India

Authors of this impact evaluation report examines the impact of a multi-level intervention on latrine use and safe child faeces disposal behaviour in rural Odisha. The study finds that the intervention led to a significant improvement in the safe disposal of child faeces amongst latrine-owning households and that the rate of latrine use changed in both control and intervention communities.
