The impact of linkage modalities between index-based insurance and agricultural credit

This brief presents evidence from a 4-year quasi-experimental impact evaluation of weather-index-based insurance bundled with agricultural loans for small-scale producers in Senegal. 3ie initially received funding for the Agricultural Insurance Evidence Program from UK aid through the Department for International Development (now known as FCDO).
